About Limit Hold'em: Limit Hold'em awards tight, aggressive play on all streets. If you like to be selective about the hands you play, and are eager to play aggressive when you think your hand is the best, Limit could be for you. Bluffing does not play nearly as big a role in Limit as it does in No Limit, so players uncomfortable with bluffing often enjoy Limit. Give it a try in October, and you could land a spot in our Everest Poker $5,000 Freeroll

Everest Poker Summit Points Program

Everest Poker is proud to have the most generous player points program in the industry. We truly value all of our players and reward them with Summit Points.
Everest Poker reward every player at the table with 1 Summit Point for every $1 we collect in rake, including fractional points. That means you can earn up to 3 Summit Points per hand! Most other sites limit you to only one point per hand; some don't even give you points unless you bet.
As if that wasn't enough, the first two players at the table earn double Summit Points for their entire session at the table!
Tournament players win, too! You earn 8 Summit Points for every $1 in tournament entry fees, both single- and multi-table, with no limit on how many Summit Points you can earn per tournament.
Once you have 'em, what can you do with 'em? Redeem Summit Points for entries into real money tournaments, cash them in for great Everest Poker merchandise and play at our "Points for Points" tables and tournaments.

Everest Poker Software & Graphics

The software at Everest Poker is quite unique and runs smoothly. There are several special features, such as choosing your preferred language and a nice statistic function on your play. The design and software are pleasant, and there is a special option that allows you to rotate the table so that you can position your player in front of you. The lobby contains good information, including percentage of players seeing the flop, hands played per hour, and average pot. It is possible to play at four tables simultaneously.

Everest Poker Ring Game Traffic

There are approximately 1,500-2,000 real money players during peak hours (September, 2006).

Everest Poker Tournament Traffic

Tournament traffic mostly consists of free roll players. Everest Poker has been offering WSOP, WPT and EPEC satellites and is expected to do so in the future as well, this might help to increase tournament traffic in the near future. Currently, the room boasts tournament traffic of 8,000-9,000 real money players during peak hours, September, 2006.

Everest Poker Game Variety

As of now, the only games accessible are Texas Hold'em ring games (pot-limit, no-limit, limit, and heads-up) and tournaments. There are Omaha and Seven-Card Stud tabs in the lobby which are expected to open once they reach critical volume.

No rake on any hands that end before the flop ("No Flop - No Drop"). No rake on un-called wagers. No rake on Fixed Limit Micro-Stake games (such as $.02/$.04 stakes. There is a 2-seat tables rake cap of maximum rake per hand $1. Based on those exclusions, the Everest Poker will take a flat 4.0% rake only on pots which are at least 3 times the big blind in real money hands which have seen the flop.

Everest Poker Soft Competition

Mostly low stakes games with very soft competition. Viewed flop percentages are mostly in the 40-ties and 50-ties but over 60% in some cases!

Everest Poker European Championship

Everest Poker European Championship
9 September 2006 Barcelona, Spain

Represent your country at the Everest Poker European Championship and compete for your share of a €50,000 prize pool! You can qualify through free, live poker events in your country or through online freeroll satellites exclusively at Everest Poker. You could be the next European Champion!

Everest Poker Promotions

The number and value of promotions is slightly below industry standard. Everest Poker has not yet had any re-load bonuses but there are quite a few decent free rolls for beginning players. It is possible to make the roll over from a play money player to a real money player by only participating in free roll tournaments (mainly single table tournaments) without depositing any real money (though this will take a lot of time and dedication).

Everest Poker Financial Security

Everest Poker is a fairly new room, but with a serious approach and no recorded problems.
